The GEISTER exhibition brings together positions that address themes such as memory, trauma and the lingering echo of the past in the present, and explores the boundaries between presence and absence, visibility and invisibility. Using a variety of artistic mediums, from painting and sculpture to video installations and performance, the artists evoke a palpable sense of absence and invite the viewer to resonate with the echo of what once was. Thus, they open a space for dialogue, reflection and the possibility of imagining an alternative future beyond the limits of the present moment.
